Teen Facilitator Registration Form
Hi! We’re so excited to welcome you to the Snowflake family. Here’s a quick intro about your desired position:
Snowflake focuses on teaching youth valuable skills that develop healthy peer relationships, promote responsible decision-making, and increase self esteem in order to lead drug-free lives. Youth will participate in two large group performances and small group discussions and activities. As a facilitator, you will co-facilitate the small group sessions. Each teen facilitator will be paired with an adult facilitator. There are a limited number of facilitator spots available. Applicants will go through a short interview process before accepted.
Teen facilitators for Snowflake must be at least 16 years old. All facilitators will be required to attend one training on Wednesday, February 27th OR Thursday, February 28th from 5 to 8 pm at King Arts School and the entire Snowflake event on Friday, March 8th, from 3 – 9:30 pm at King Arts School. Facilitators must also have an interest in working with middle school students. Facilitators will earn 10 community service hours for attendance at the training and event. NOTE: ETHS students selected as facilitators will be excused from 8th and 9th periods and will be required to turn in a field trip form.
